Everyone has a story.

This is mine.

Most people would like to make history, but I want to share it. My intent as a professional and individual is to express empathy and understanding through my work. Growing up in the Bay Area of northern California gave me a diverse environment to realize there are so many unique and important stories to not only listen to but properly share with the world. As a woman, mixed Asian American, and military veteran, proper representation has become important to me; I’ve felt overlooked and unable to relate to what I saw shown in the mass media. So, I’ve made it my goal to cultivate safe spaces that allow others to feel not only seen but heard for a more welcoming tomorrow.

In recent years, I’ve become more vocal and present to advocate for causes such as proper mental health treatment and education. After having an uphill battle with it for years and eventually acquiring disability, I consider the knowledge of these subjects important for public safety and everyday well-being. I’ve also been a strong supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and rally against sexual and racially motivated crimes. I try to stay active in volunteer work such as feeding the homeless in local communities and have been given opportunities to broaden my perspective by traveling to several countries through the ambassador’s programs as well as in my free time.

After finishing my work in the military alongside intelligence systems and networking, I have moved on towards a Bachelor in Business with a Marketing Certificate at the University of Phoenix. After my expected graduation in the Spring of 2025, I hope to be given an opportunity to work alongside a company with similar ideals and have them come to fruition together.
